3/17/2010 8:08:00 AM

Are you busy house-hunting at the moment?  Want to be on TV?  If so,  grab your opportunity at A Place in the Sun Live - the UK's biggest and best-attended overseas property exhibition.

This year, A Place in the Sun Live - being held alongside The Ideal Home Show at Earls Court 2 - will be offering potential house-hunters the chance to audition for a place on next TV series. This unique opportunity is being offered by Freeform Productions, the producers of the hugely successful family of A Place in the Sun TV shows.

With the availability of heavily-discounted properties bringing the opportunity of owning a home overseas even closer for British buyers, A Place in the Sun Live offers visitors independent practical advice on the dos and don'ts of buying abroad.

Informative country-specific features on offer will include:

- A Portuguese Pavilion, in association with the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, with supporting seminars on buying in Portugal, including the full low-down on investment opportunities

- A Spanish village showcasing bargain discounted properties available along the Costas

- A French area co-hosted by French-property.com with properties available from across France and a dedicated seminar theatre with sessions on buying in France

- A seminar programme hosted by overseas property experts, including special appearances by the TV show's celebrity hosts Amanda Lamb, Jonnie Irwin and Jasmine Harman.

- An emigration panel filled with experts from different countries, who will be on hand to answer questions about a permanent move overseas

Jasmine Harman, presenter A Place in the Sun: Home or Away?, enthused: "Wherever you're looking and whatever your budget, there is something here for you, plus expert advice to help you make the most of your investment."

Jonnie Irwin, presenter A Place in the Sun: Home or Away?, added: "There is a real buzz around the exhibition halls every day. It's great fun meeting viewers of the show and talking through some of their plans."

Opening hours for the show are 10.00 to 17.00 on Friday 26th March,  Saturday 27th March and Sunday 28th March.
